Playing Cards – Deserto
Deserto by Djeco is a strategy game where you try to win as many cards as possible. The thief steals the treasure. The vizier captures the thief. The oasis is neutral. Seems easy, but you cannot place a card next to a more powerful card on the 2 x 2 grid, so each turn is a new tactical challenge! When all the cards have been played, the game is over. The winner is the player with the most cards. Deserto includes 51 colorfully illustrated cards: 6 oasis, 15 vizier, 15 thief and 15 treasure. The game is for 2 to 4 players and takes about 15 minutes to play. Develops strategic and tactical reasoning. Recommended for ages 7 years and up.
